that’s p much how i feel about it. idk though just because the host, as a story, is a lot more…unique, i guess; and the things i find totes ridiculous about stephenie meyer’s writing, i hope (i haven’t seen any twilight movies), don’t translate too much to a screen adaptation. i’m also considering re-reading it, just because…there are obviously like a fuckton of social issues in the twilight series that are even still brought up so often that they’re hard to forget. but i read the host so long ago that i don’t remember if it suffers from the same problems, so i kind of want to like re-examine it idek.
